Cocktail Classes

Alcohol, acid, sugar, seasoning and water… it’s really as simple as that! 

At the Blind Pig we love to teach ! Alongside our monthly cocktail class, we also run private classes on request for groups of 8 or more. Whether it is a corporate or a private event, we would be delighted to invite you in and show you how to make cocktails like a pro !

For those who want to learn a handful of recipes (that can make a few thousand variations) stemming from the roots of all mixed drinks. History, technique, and some science are all touched upon with a hands-on approach, you’ll take away a new appreciation for the art of mixed drinks and your ability to host your own guests with enviable panache.

The class will be held from 1–3pm and costs €60 per person with an added 12.5% service charge.

You and friends can learn about a chosen spirit, how it works in classic drinks, all within the private confines of The Blind Pig, with a focus of understanding the template of drinks that gives you the confidence to make your own mixed classics at home.

For larger parties – We can accommodate up to 24 persons for a class but this would require two teachers so that the group can receive the same high-quality class that a smaller group with one teacher would. In this case, you will get twice the knowledge and twice the experience. One group will learn technique and all things bar based with Pat, while the other group learns about history and theory with Andrew. After one hour, the groups will swap.

To book, all we need is a deposit of €10 per person. The deposit is redeemable against your outstanding bill at the end of the class. If you need to cancel or change the date of the class, the deposit is refundable 48 hours before the start time of the class.

Host your clients and/or staff for an afternoon/evening of paired drinks and small plates, as our master mixologist guides you through your chosen spirit family.

With a guided spirits experience, that is then tastefully paired off in three servings of mixed drink, with three complimentary dishes, this is the perfect way to entertain with all the heavy lifting done by us.
